Not a bad drive, considering that it is 4 TB in a 2.5 "case. As far as I know, there are no alternatives. Well, except perhaps the ST4000LM016, which is no longer for sale. You need to remember about its thickness, it is written about it everywhere. In terms of reliability, everything suits. Works in the system unit (accordingly, there is no shaking / shock). Mode of operation: mainly for backups / torrents / file cleaning. Often in the off state (the OS disconnects the disk due to inactivity). It has been working in this mode for about a year, so far everything is flawless, SMART is clean. When buying, you can save money by buying an external USB drive with this drive inside (for example, Seagate Expansion Portable Drive 4 TB), the price of an external box with a drive is cheaper than the drive itself. It should be understood that in this case there will most likely not be a guarantee.
