great ride. My old shocks were too soft with the big tires. They boosted the ride and made my 4Runner feel faster on the road. If you know a few tricks, these shocks shouldn't be that difficult to assemble. 1) A 14mm deep socket mated to a 3/8 flat ratchet handle loosens the top nuts much easier than the YouTube recommended 14mm flexible ratchet wrench. Climbing around the upper shock body is no joke, there isn't much room to work, but trust me this combo of tools is the answer to removal and installation. 2) You will need a jack to compress these shocks. far enough to place on the axle mount. I'm a big strong guy and I couldn't squeeze them by just pushing up like I could with the old Sensens I was replacing. A small jack was the only answer.
