It's elegant and I reckon a must for adding that wow factor to the engine bay. The kit comes pre-cut and the ends are sealed with black tape for easy clip installation/removal. A hacksaw is recommended for shortening; but I used a thin, high-speed metal cut-off wheel. NEXT: I struggled until I felt the two halves being pressed slightly against each other. can be disassembled with a flathead screwdriver (aluminum is easily damaged, so be careful). Put the red cap back on the stainless steel hose, put the blue base (with loose clamp) on the fitting, install the shielded hose, then tighten the clamp, slide the red cap down and leave it on the snap blue base. . Stainless steel hose clamps are a convenient 6mm size and are easy to remove. Did I miss it in the instructions? The Autozone hotline had no idea. GL
