4 star to start off with. About 2 weeks in we received flashing lights and shutdown a couple of times (noting an error). Then it seemed to go away. At this point the battery would last quite a bit. The two riders were 80 and 120 lbs. Batter would last a couple of days. We were curious about the 8 mile charge claim and downloaded the app. We were getting closer to 4 miles but it was still operating alright. We only used the hoverboard indoors. It has never been outside our house. 5 weeks in and we started seeing the error more often. Also, the battery started dissipating much quicker. It started to heat up faster. We tried it again a week later and the battery only lasted for about 6 minutes and dissipated 40% ( 2 tenths of a mile). I called tech support and we returned it for repairs. We followed all charging and storing guidelines. We will see how their "gold-standard warranty" works for us. The hoverboard worked great for a couple of weeks. No shaking or misalignment. It just seems that their poor quality battery died quickly. I will update this review once we see how their RMA system works.
