Review on 💨 Replacement Blower Assembly (TYC 700027) for Ford F Series Pickup: Boost Performance & Efficiency by Brian Trotter

This is an exact match to a 2001 Lincoln Navigator. The performance of this fan far exceeds that of my disused factory fan. It feels like this new fan is outputting the same (or more) cfm when the fan control is set to 50% as the old fan is at 100%. (Brushes were removed in the old motor). While this new fan moves a large volume of air at full speed, it should be good for heat dissipation in the coming winter months. I can't comment on the durability of the product as I installed it last weekend. a ridiculously small gap between the fan motor and the floor making it difficult to remove/install the fan motor. The fan motor itself has 4 screws and I would recommend unscrewing the one closest to the firewall first. I also recommend removing the round vent tube just behind the fan motor (three screws attach it to the radiator - two vertical screws next to the fan and one horizontal screw in the mounting flange closer to the skid plate). If I remember correctly all the screws are 5/16 inch. In hindsight, I would have also removed the skid plate and pushed the carpet out of the way for more clearance. Be careful of the hidden tabs on the heater block that could snag on the fan. .
