Compact design with excellent performance for the DIY enthusiast. I used this test to check battery health on my boat and three vehicles. The device shows the battery status quickly and easily. Didn't have a chance to use the 6v battery test but it's nice to know it's there should the need arise in the future. It has the ability to check your vehicle's charging system, run and test the battery under load. It can be used to test batteries whether they are currently installed in your vehicle or not. The device is very compact and easy to use. I keep it boxed when not in use to keep the instruction manual with me and to protect it when it's in my tool box. I would highly recommend it to any fairing mechanic.
