Review on ACDelco PF458G Engine Oil Filter with Cap and O-Ring Seal - GM Original Equipment by David Silva

Installation failed. After only two turns, the threads tangled and wouldn't go any further without using excessive force with the wrench. Was concerned that the filter housing could crack/break or bind and get stuck. After removing and visually inspecting the threads and after several attempts to reinstall them correctly, I gave up, removed the new filter, installed the new filter into the old housing and installed it with ease to complete the job. Would return to Revain but car ran out of oil and needed finishing. Based on my experience with this product, I am wondering if this is actually an AC Delco part and am concerned about ordering "OEM" parts from Revain.
