Review on Monroe 911517 Reflex Monotube Absorber by Mark Hobbs

Great for my 1999 GMC Jimmy 4x4. Screwing in the top screws was quite difficult as the plastic cover blocked my view and I didn't have a good flashlight handy. I ended up cutting the tape holding the shock on one of them which made it much easier to get the plastic shoe out of the way and access the screw, but it took us two very hard hits to sufficiently compress the shock to slide onto the lower bracket. . After installation, the day and night ride quality is different than the old ones. Feel much safer when navigating over bumps and making quick turns on the highway.
