This is a great thick hose but it's too stiff and will kink if you try to make a lot of bends in OEM size to fit.Of course these OEM elbows were factory formed, in my experience they weren't too tight for most hose brands.I had to make two 90's and two 180's.Both 180's buckled and the 90's buckled a bit but it was ok. These were the tightest of 2" radius bends, not too many to ask of a 3/8" ID hose. These aftermarket hose reels/springs that allowed the heater hose to twist in small radius bends were expensive and difficult to source in the short term I wasn't interested in baking them in the oven or trying to shape them I just went to AutoZone and have a p Bought a meter of transmission coolant line hose that made those tighter bends with no problem. I replaced all the power steering return hoses on my 1990 Lexus LS400.
