I've been using the monitor for about a month. It's very bright, the text is easy to read, and it's very comfortable to work with it in multiple windows - the transition between text editor, browser, etc. is perfect, so it's great when I'm working. However, with full-screen HD video, I quickly see why it's so cheap. Lots of strange fragments, especially in the dark areas of the screen. I'm not too picky when it comes to video quality and I find them unwatchable. Thankfully, the screen is again physically large enough so that if you need to watch video while you work, you can tile it and still have plenty of room.
