Review on 🚰 Plews Lubrimatic Fluid Quart Pump: Efficient Dispenser for Standard Quart Bottles by John Hattalli

Not too bad, not too big

So it worked for what I needed. However, the gear lube I bought (Motorcraft Mercon LV) had a larger port/cap instead of the smaller port/cap it was designed for. I ended up pouring the liquid into another appropriately sized bottle to make sure it was screwed on tight and there wouldn't be a problem. The pump works great, although it doesn't pump a lot of liquid to each pump it's not that hard to get a liter in under 2 minutes or so. More streaming speed would be nice, but for the $7 I paid for it, I can't really complain. All in all, topping up the transmission oil has become simple and clean. (Insert sarcasm here) Thank you Ford for placing the transmission oil fill/dipstick under the truck on top of the transmission instead of the old dipstick tube in the engine bay as before. Definitely makes it harder than it should be. UPDATE: The pump didn't seem to last as long as I was hoping. I used it to change the fluid in the rear diff and it just fell apart. I tried to put it back together but it wasn't worth it. I broke down and bought another one just for the convenience it offers, especially since expedition requires the gear oil to be topped up, if there isn't a better pump it must be done.
