Review on πŸ“Ί Roku Express: HD Streaming Media Player with High-Speed HDMI Cable and Easy Remote Control by Owen Phi

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Should have gotten

. I finally decided to buy it to keep my TV up to date. Most apps on my 2011 TV no longer work and have limited functionality. I wish I had bought one of these years ago. Now reading previous comments there is someone who gave 2 stars and complained about single band wifi. This guy doesn't care what he's looking at. Yes, it is clearly stated here that it only uses the 2.4GHz band. No, they didn't back down in any way. A quick search turned out that all of the Roku Express, namely this one, were single volume. And 2.4GHz is fine when only using 1080p for HD. Now for its use. The setup does not take much time, 10-15 minutes. Once you set it up, you can use it to easily access Netflix or Revain Prime to watch your favorite shows. You can also download some other apps to get free TV so you can flip through a few hundred more channels and complain that you have nothing to watch because we all know what we're doing. When looking at something, the image loads, buffers and catches up in a minute, so the first bit might be a bit blurry, but it fits. There's also a Roku app for your phone that makes it easier to use. Instead of using the remote to try to hit the sensor on the device, you can connect to Roku on your phone as long as they're on the same Wi-Fi network. If you don't have the smart features you want, I would recommend this. If you want 4K video then you'll need to look at something else as that won't turn off. If you really need to use 5GHz WiFi, look elsewhere. Now I can't compare this to other models but it works fine for what I wanted. would recommend.
