Updated After Getting A New iPad Case - Happy Shopping!

Fast delivery, 1 day delivery! The quality of the materials looks very good and I am pleased with the low weight of the device. It doesn't add weight or unbalance the iPad when you hold it. I was surprised that there was no documentation or warranty information in the package. Because of its small size, the hub doesn't interfere with the iPad's speakers. I am more than a little disappointed that I had to remove my iPad 12.9 from the 2018 ESR Urban Premium Folio Case V2.0 for iPad Pro 12.9" to use the hub. This makes it impossible to use it while while maintaining protection for my iPad I will find an 'extension cable' to use the hub with my case If I can't find one I will have to resort to separate dongles when using the folio case Not perfect and a miss the purpose of the hub! 3.5mm audio jack worked as soon as I took my iPad out of the case, although the volume buttons on my wired Bose headphones didn't work, the stop/start function worked and the headphones woke up with the USB already plugged in Hub on. Headphone volume was good and sound quality from video and music on YouTube was good. Haven't tried other ports yet and will update when I do old age is ok If all ports are working fine. But as mentioned, usage patterns via are limited when using a case that protects the sides of the iPad. Updated 4/1/19: I am pleased to report that after using the new magnetic case for my iPad 2018 12.9 the hub is working quite well. I also got a new 45w charger and cable to test with the hub and it charges really fast. All ports work fine. I even tried using the USB-A port with a Lightning cable to import photos from my iPhone 7 while charging and listening to music through the Bose Quiet Comfort 25 headphones. The volume controls still didn't work, but the sound quality and volume were acceptable. Upgrading my rating to 4 stars but still looking for a firmware update to enable volume control on the headphone jack. I bought the HyperDrive Hub on Indiegogo but didn't even try to use it due to the many reports of user issues. Also about damage to the iPad. I'm glad I bought the Satechi hub!
