Not very good but does the job

The cutting boards did the job but the smallest cutting board is useless in my opinion. It's too small, not enough space unless you just cut some limes/lemons for juicing. The largest cutting board is more like a medium-sized cutting board; not so much "big" size. I was hoping it would be a little bigger so I could butcher a whole fish. I bought this cutting board because it doesn't take on an odor like wooden/bamboo cutting boards, especially when you're cutting poultry and seafood. After a quick wash and rinse the smell is gone but compared to my chopping block the smell still lingers. It dries faster than a wooden/bamboo cutting board, so it gets less messy. The chopping block is only good if I use less of it, but that defeats the purpose of cooking. Although it comes with scissors and a vegetable peeler, it's not that sharp. The vegetable peeler, just like any other you will find in the store, is nothing special. It's not as angular or too blunt, that's okay; but if fruits or vegetables have thicker skins, you need to use another knife that is sharper or some knife peeling skills. The knife is terrible. I had a hard time slicing the beef jerky into smaller pieces, but slicing up some herbs works well. I just stick with my meat block for meat that requires hard knife work; and this cutting board for vegetables and small pieces of meat.

Pros
  • Nice touch
Cons
  • Waiting time too long
