This desk easel is so wonderful, I will try to help you and tell a little story. I drew and was an avid artist when I was younger, but the responsibilities of motherhood and the simple life made me too impatient to enjoy my hobby and slowed me down enough to get it right. After becoming disabled 8 years ago I thought I'd try painting again, I bought a big easel, it was uncomfortable, I couldn't stand long enough to do anything and I still felt that I was in a hurry, so I stopped again. . I saw this and others but this one adjusted, leaning forward for the best angle or back for the best coverage. The height seemed really good for canvas, water paper, or large sketch paper, and it felt like I could protect what I was working on. Also, the price was really good. When I received it my husband set it up for me (I had weak hands that day), it comes in a box and is wrapped with the front (where the drawing pad is) on the back; easy assembly, even without direction, and the wing nuts are easy to tighten. I put my largest notepad (18 x 12) on it and it stayed in place with no problems. There is enough space for pencils or your favorite brushes on the easel in front of the paintings, as I show in one of the pics (I don't keep my brushes there, 9 times out of 10 they're wet so not good). space for them in my case). The easel is strong, the easel does not shake. So far I have only improved my water painting skills and when I paint with water I sometimes apply to the area with some force and there is still no wobble or judder. Height can be an issue, but creative people can solve this problem, and I did. Grab something to secure your workbench, this easel holds a 1/2" backing (the piece that's left over the drywall) and my paper is now supported and there's room left. Oh yes, and I disassembled the easel and kept it in the box, then put it back together (because I had to know what I could do) without the help of my husband's hands. It is not difficult to assemble, even for those who sometimes have problems with weakness. It takes up very little space. To be honest I just leave it on my dining table as I still use it and move it to the end when needed. He's not that big. It's not bulky like my big one. I love this easel and would recommend this desk easel to anyone, it's worth having the freedom to express yourself again. since I still use it and move it to the end when needed. He's not that big.
