LOVE THIS PRODUCT on paint and primer

LOVE THIS PRODUCT. I teach in an old building and I wanted to update my blackboards with whiteboards without spending a lot of money. When I discovered this product I was thrilled. I read all the reviews and watched videos on how to use the product correctly and successfully. I checked the date at the store and informed the folks at Home Depot that this set will expire in 1 year (the dyer had no idea and sold a lot of sets). I was a little apprehensive considering this product has a group of people it doesn't work for, but figured it was worth $22 to try. I think to use this product successfully you need to: 1) make sure the kit is not older than 1 year. The date is on the inside of the box on the glasses. 2) Paint the surface to be used with a primer. Let it dry for a full week. 3) Mix the kit and use within an hour. Serious. Set a timer. You'll paint over it when it gets a little sticky, but it will work. 4) Paint with the foam roller recommended in the kit. Just do it. Using anything else will disable the texture. 5) Vacation for a week. 7 days. No deception. 6) Use expensive branded markers. Expo works fine for me. Some colors come off easier than others, but all can be removed with either a little elbow grease or Expo liquid cleaner. Also, the box says this set will cover a 7' x 7' space with multiple levels. I covered a 4 by 15 foot room nicely with four coats. A minimum of 2 coats is recommended in the box but I would go for at least 4. I'll have to do an additional test later this year to say how well this product has held up in the first class class, but for now I'm so happy with my new whiteboards!
