We have mahogany bar stools and two kids in our kitchen so I wanted to be able to cover up the scratches but a simple tan/brown/light mix would never mean chairs come. The great variety of colors in this set gave me the opportunity to create my own color! It came out too purple the first time but I just mixed up another batch after it dried and tried again. Voila! The scratches are gone! I didn't have to use wood putty for deeper damage, but I'm sticking with it. With two little ones, we're sure to need it at some point!
