Update: I've had it for about 3 weeks now and I think the software issues have resolved themselves. Knock on wood, timetables and maps seem to have been drawn. I'm increasing my rating from 3 to 4 stars. I'd still like to use Alexa to launch it and I'm disappointed to see them saying it's going to be another month for filter changes and the like. BUT the first filter bag should have been replaced a few days ago. Considering the number of pets I have, this has actually exceeded my expectations, but I still can't use 6 months on the original stock. Original: I risked it with no feedback and I'm still not sure how it will turn out. Let's talk about my house first: I have 3 dogs, 3 cats, a bird and a teenager that I have to take care of. Everyone but the bird contributes to the incredible amount of dirt found in the hair and stuffing of the toy (or furniture) that the pup recently killed. The only thing that really gives this vacuum cleaner physical problems is the filling. The tire tread wraps it in the wheel cavity and the wheels get stuck. Easy fix, now that I know what to look for but you can't see the filling inside the wheel, you just have to keep rolling the tire backwards until it comes out. It was the first time I used it, but I haven't had any problems since. I really like the swipe function on this one. I had 2 RoboRocks with a mop but they use gravity to keep the pad wet. This one actively sprays water onto the back of the mat and I can definitely see the difference. It also seems to move differently in mopping mode, rocking back and forth for a more thorough mopping clean. He feels a difference when he switches to carpet and goes back to straight lines (and stops adding water to the carpet I think). Don't forget to remove the mop until I find a solution to this. The card appears to be faulty. When the cleaning cycle is interrupted, the bot seems to forget where it is and loses sight of invisible walls. It CANNOT be run with Alexa. I used this crap with my robots. Notifications are mostly audio unless you accidentally look at the app. Good luck hearing or understanding what he needs. My autovacuum schedule keeps getting erased. Hopefully there is a software update to fix this. Still can't find consumables for sale, there was a good supply of disposable mopping pads (30) and 6 dust bags but that won't last long. house like mine. Time will tell if I'll be forced to modify parts from other brands to keep this guy going. I guess for $360 total I'd say go for it. Until they fix some of those software glitches and start selling consumables, I wouldn't recommend paying more.
