Review on Complete Small Exo Terra PT3778 Crested Gecko Kit - Premium Set for Optimal Gecko Care by Jessica Washington

I ordered this terrarium to give my crested gecko a more spacious home and to install a fog machine to automatically control the desired humidity level.; however, it has no hardware/fitting hole. I spoke to the company that sells the product and also to the manufacturer. There is no mist/mist function on this terrarium. It was marketed as intended for baby crested geckos and hatchlings that need a certain level of moisture to survive. The substrate included was coir. Jake is about 9 months old and I thought he was old enough not to eat coir substrate. Three days ago I switched Jake's substrate to coir. The next day I caught him eating fiber. Requires veterinary intervention and still unsure if he will survive. I soak it in 100 degree water for 15 minutes three times a day. He had no bowel movements for 2 days. I got the Eco Terra the same day I found it chewed on the fiber. The terrarium was beautiful with nice decor but I sent it back due to a moisture issue. I find it hard to accept that a manufacturer would make a product for baby/young geckos and not include moisturizers.
