I live in a rural area and get third party internet access by renting cell towers from major cell service providers. In other words, the signal strength is low. I bought this antenna to boost the signal on my router and it does what I need. I needed a long connection cable to get to the outside and it provides that. I have a metal panel next to an outside door and the magnet sticks to it well and is relatively unobtrusive. I didn't have to use the self-adhesive feature. This antenna has fully justified me.
