Definitely strong steel!
The main reason I bought them was because I needed the flexible ones like the third photo in this review. This company's flexible tubing is too thick steel to bend like that, I contacted them and they responded quickly and we sorted the problem out. If you are looking for some sturdy, durable ones, I would suggest these!
