I've owned over 20 BMWs and I know better. But I was trying to save a few bucks and once again my BMW taught me a lesson. The poor design of the tabs makes them very easy to short out. Broken plastic element that should separate the cables. I did JB Weld Engineering and it worked, but I accepted that I had learned the lesson and bought the right one afterwards.
