nice idea, but SEVERELY restricts HVAC intake

I was driving with this air filter installed with 4 passengers on a moderately sunny 80 degree F day and my AC could not keep up. My fan speed was pegged at 10 and still the cabin was uncomfortably warm. If you know anything about traveling with a car full of people it's that recirculating cabin air is not the best when it comes to friendly smells, so therefore I couldn't keep "recirculate" on. I had to pull over and remove this filter completely. Then all I needed was a fan speed of 4 to keep everyone cool.I'd recommend the low-density mesh version of this kind of vent cover since it'll still keep out large debris while the OEM HEPA Charcoal filter will do its job inside of the cabin.

May not fit perfectly and could cause rattling or other noises while driving

Great product and the model 3 should come with this from the factory. I definitely recommend it’s a great inexpensive mod that everyone should do. This filter feels very high quality as well!
