I had a broken zig zag spring in my recliner. I looked online and watched a Youtube tutorial on replacing the springs. I had all the tools so I decided to try making the repair. After five hours I am sitting on my recliner and it feels fine. I'm worn out and sore. It felt like hand to hand combat getting the springs in place. I feel good not having to lay out six hundred dollars for a new recliner, but this repair is something for a young man to attempt. Get a tool to help tension the spring in place unless it is your arm day. A doubled up piece of string does not help with leverage.
