Bought this to melt chocolate and make chocolate covered pretzels for my colleagues for Christmas. I've made chocolate covered pretzels dozens of times and it's really tough when the chocolate gets hard and then needs to be melted again without the chocolate burning. This double melting pot was so easy in every way! I used both sides at the same time. I melted the white chocolate on one side and the milk chocolate on the other. The crucible will not overheat or burn the chocolate. Very impressed with this melting pot. The only downside is that it's expensive. It's very light and doesn't feel like something that should cost close to $40. Overall it comes with great accessories and exceeded my expectations for what I was trying to achieve.
