Review on 🔘 Frameless Bearing Cabinets with Extension OCG by Kadarius Gentry

After reading about drawer slides for a few days I settled on these. They arrived quickly, well packaged with proper instructions. However, since I was using Kreg's rail mounts, the instructions for the rails didn't quite apply (they say to attach the rails to the center of the drawer, but Kreg places them on the bottom edge). Installing in existing cabinets as a replacement is challenging and requires some time on your knees. In my face closets I had an issue with the brackets holding the back of the rails. The brackets fit loosely enough against the rails that they protrude in the path of the rails, which rests the corner of the drawer against the brackets and prevents the drawer from closing. I had to file a little relief into the cardboard to remove the staples. It's also possible that I didn't place the brackets correctly (not easy, even with a bracket). If you are using a Kreg mount and 16" rails, the rear mount will sit on top of the Kreg mount, making the rail uneven. I removed some material from the Kreg fasteners to clean the staples. Insert a piece of wood into the cabinet to install the back of the track and discard the brackets as they require extra work. The tug when opening the drawer isn't bad, but you have to squeeze the drawer for a soft close to turn it on - you can just close it too softly and it sits open about 2 inches. I expect these small issues will arise no matter what foil I buy and they seem like good value.
