The alternator had just been installed and I wanted to make sure that the voltage generated in the various circuits was correct. I was very pleased that this inexpensive plug-in installation worked so well. I know that the voltmeter should always be plugged into a rarely used outlet to ensure the voltage is correct whenever I want to check it.
