Review on Mastercool 70057 Black Eccentric Flaring by Flee Pannell

With previous flaring experience this tool is back. Bought it for a project and can't make a clean score without flashes. Tried several times with oil, same result. Stripped ends the same result. I tried copper and aluminium, the same result, with notches, as in the picture. Uses a hard 37* flare tool that looks similar and has a perfect flare with no notches. Only bought this brand as it was $20-30 cheaper. maybe I have a defective one, I won't try another one.
