Review on GIANTARM Orange PLA 3D Printer Filament 1Kg(2 by Marcel Robinson

fur is ok. 3D Printing Filament

So I bought a spool of GiantArm Silky Green PLA and printed some functional parts that didn't have a lot of detail and they came out pretty darn good - even some pretty good size prints. So I ordered more from the same list, in different colors - a gray spool and a white spool. Made a print or two with gray - again decent sized prints but without much detail or cracking. The pressure has turned out damn good so far. Then I had to print more detailed material, with support and small parts that got separated on the first few layers that were later put together in the press, and then the material started moving south pretty quickly. - and the speed related settings I would use, I had a lot of failed prints due to clogged nozzles. I completely disassembled and cleaned my hotend and installed a new nozzle. No improvements. I wasn't entirely sure if it wasn't user error though, but I tried a different brand of filament just in case and the same files printed perfectly, no clogs etc. I can only conclude from that. that the GiantArm thread could be the culprit. So from my experience the GiantArm seems decent/ok unless you print a lot of parts. If so, then I would steer clear of it. Also, I would like to add that different colors had variations in the packaging and the spools themselves, leading me to believe this is just a thread on the bottom. Oh, and I had a small winding and tearing issue on a roll to use after mid.
