Works great with USB 3 hard drives (and non-storage devices), but when I plug in a USB 2 hard drive, flash drive, or SD card reader, it will the device recognized it for a few seconds, then randomly disconnect and reconnect. I tried the solution in the April 30, 2019 review and it seems to have reduced the number of random disconnects, but not completely. You should find another way to connect your old storage devices. I wouldn't blame the Windows 10 issue as I have another USB 3 hub (Dynex brand) that never had this problem. UPDATE: I've noticed a new issue with this hub where devices will randomly disconnect/reconnect when enough devices are plugged into it. He did this with my wired keyboard, which made no sense to me. Deciding to use this hub as a charger only, I bought an Insignia USB 3.0 hub and put it next to my previous Dynex hub. I'd rather have two separate hubs with only 4 ports that work great than one "big" hub that fails so easily.
