There is little privacy when a look can get close

This movie looks beautiful and has good reviews. I bought it to close the side windows near the main entrance. Unfortunately it didn't work with this app. (1) The product page shows how blurry an object can look when it is 2, 30, 60 cm behind the film. But it doesn't tell you how far away the viewer is from the film, which is far more important from a privacy perspective. I say it doesn't offer privacy when prying eyes can get close to the window. It's easy to see through small areas of film that are smooth. Convince yourself on the photos provided. (2) The film is not rolled properly, so you put the film on the window, the edges are folded away from the window, it is difficult to paste. Should curve down toward the window. I used a hair dryer to aggravate the problem, it helped a little. I suggest cutting off a few inches of the foil when first unwrapping the product and then folding it the other way yourself. (3) This can be a problem with all 3D films, the rough side makes it difficult to extrude all the small bubbles. Outside. I hope they go away over time. [Update: Bubbles Are Gone] In any case, all is not lost. I now cover one side of my aquarium with this film to hide the ugly power cords. It does a fantastic job. Also on the 2nd floor are the bathroom windows, which are high off the ground. I will buy matte window film on the side windows near the entrance.
