Gimball bearing pulled out - it worked!
I had to remove the Alpha One gimbal thrust bearing and sterndrive. Instead of spending $150 on the right tool, I went for this set at 1/4 the price. I used the smallest puller; It took several minutes for the inner rubber boot to free itself. I also had to build a small clamp to fit between the washer and the bushing holding the bearing. I can imagine a few other uses for this product besides rear axle bearings.
