I would like to start by saying I have this from Menards and this review does not reflect the seller in any way just my disregard for this particular product they are carrying around . I took it to hang a 75 inch LG in my home theater. Before I got to the TV mount I filled in all the holes and sanded the wall before painting it with fresh paint. Then I go to install this stand and the instructions are a mess but I was able to figure them out. They have different paths for the type of connection you need to access on your TV. In general, I measured everything and started pre-drilling holes. I used the chisel they suggested and went to the depth indicated (plus a little more just to be on the safe side). I started screwing the top two anchor bolts almost all the way in so I could finally align them before tightening them down. Before I could touch the head of the screw on the bracket, the screw popped in the shoulder (see attached picture). I found this odd and was happy to see they included a spare. I measured the new holes an inch from the previous one to try again. This time I measured and pre-drilled all 4. 3 of 4 screwed it in all the way, then a new screw snapped in the same corner and this time I used a nifty 1/4" ratchet. At no point was there too much torque for a proper lag screw. Because it was the same corner and both screws got stuck in the post I now have 6 holes in my freshly repaired wall and can't even be reused with another TV mount This stand may work if you supply your own screws but please don't trust them I can't imagine how the TVs would have hung if they survived the initial tightening. Test all other components at your own risk. I've collected all sorts of cheap furniture with reviews saying nothing fits. I had mine fair share of cheap IKEA and Harbor Freight junk and it all fits together easily for me I have 3 Audis and 3 bikes, with de I enjoy working and keeping them in top condition and have done all engine maintenance and home repairs myself for the last 20 years. I even worked as a materials engineer for a global engine manufacturer. I'll know an unacceptable clasp when I see one, but I've seen several in this set. I don't even know how legal it is to sell.
