What I like with this document shredder: It cuts everything into small pieces. I also appreciate the large container that is easy to remove. The wheels on the base are great too, making it easy to move around. What I don't like: The weird noise it makes. When it works it looks like something broke in the mechanism, but I know it's not because it cuts paper so well. I think it's more of a short-term annoyance than anything else. I also don't care that the hole is exactly 8 1/2" wide and everything has to go right down the center. Paper smaller than standard sheets needs to be visible to the electronic eye, which is a very narrow space to cover seems. Again, that's more annoying than anything. I bought this from costco and plan on keeping it, but I wish I'd bought a little more. I think as long as it does what I need I'll try to go with him to be happy.
