Read my installation instructions below for a simple point-to-point setup.

Okay, I attached mine to a 1.5 inch pole and then to a weatherproof box that was bolted to the wall of my house and RV garage. Installation instructions for transmitting a signal from one point to another. I needed wifi in my RV garage which is about 50 meters from my house. I was only getting 1 bar (if any) from my home wifi so I bought these. How the one in the garage will survive the summer in Idaho is unknown. It faces south, so it gets very hot. A few things to note that the instructions don't tell you: Wall Plug - POE for connecting directly to the CPE (aka Antenna). Wall plug - LAN for signal and output signal. DO NOT MIX THE TWO. For ease of installation, use wires of different colors. There are two ports on the bottom of the CPE, both of which perform the same function (according to an email from the owner). The antennas should not face each other directly, but point relatively in the same direction. With the LAN port on the receiving side of the CPE you can do two things: - Directly to a device such as a B. Connect a TV - Connect to a wireless router that you need to configure. No need to log in and make changes to wazoo as instructed. Do yourself a favor and set them up before installing. - Use the bottom switch to set one CPE to A and the other to B. - Use the reset button to set each CPE to the same number. I have a test configuration from my router to the CPE and ports and then to a device with a LAN port e.g. B. a laptop performed. Since my router's name was ABC123, you can see this in your router's network settings. Remember to turn off Wi-Fi on your laptop and only use the LAN port. If you can connect to the internet, you're spot on. If asked for a password, THIS USES YOUR ROUTER, NOT "admin" on the CPE. If everything is working, your signal indicators will have two green ones on one end and signal strength on the other.
