Stillman and Byrne albums are the best on the market today.

As a professional artist, I've tried most sketchbooks. So in my opinion these are the best sketchbooks out there. The paper used is second to none. I can open them flat to work across the slide on either sheet with no binding issues. Will it make you a better artist? Pfff, of course not. But they will be there long after we are gone, like all your hard work. Go ahead and give yourself the best and see what you can create.

Pros

HEAVY HEAVY: Withstands advanced wet media technology. Excellent for detailed pen and ink work in combination with a wide use of watercolor. A favorite of botanical artists and illustrators.
