I have not used these filters but based on my research I expect they will work very well. The top rated washdown system in the Czech Republic (American Plumber WLCS-1000) uses Pentek filters, although not in this particular case. The WLCS-1000 uses the following: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0014C3G1I?redirect=true&ref_=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_5 I have to question the P1 specs a bit - 5 gpm and 1 micron is unusual. Typically 5 GPM filters are 5 microns or larger. 1 micron filters normally pass 0.5gpm but this is just a sediment filter so I'm sure it will perform much better than 0.5gpm. I see a few online filter shops that offer it as a 5 micron filter. The leaflet says "Micron Rating: Nominal 1." If I use this filter I will report back and possibly change my 4 star rating - hopefully to a 5. Unfortunately (for review purposes) it is used to filter the water that gets into the camper, so it's going to be somewhere - then next year before I realize how well it's working. <LATER> EDIT TO ADD: These filters don't appear to significantly reduce the flow of a typical 5GPM garden hose used to fill an RV. fresh water tank. Flow is pressure dependent, of course, but we added water a couple of times on a recent multi-week trip and the flow restriction was minimal. pretend it's true
