Bought this with a clamp and selection of screws to try one day. Like many of my new tools, it wasn't immediately useful. I glued the seams with biscuit waffles like before. I had a tight deadline for my latest project so I decided to give it a try. With a little practice on scraps I got the hang of it and built the chest and mirror in much less time than it would have taken to wait for the glue to set. (See Photo) The entire dresser and mirror frame are connected with pocket clip connectors, not panels and glue, and they are durable. In terms of strength, I made two 90 degree joints from scraps of the same size. One was a glued cookie waffle joint. One of these was a pocket thread connection. While this is not a scientific test, I found comparable strength in both joints when I tested them for tensile strength. There may be times when I still use glue, but I love the speed and accuracy of assembly with these tools.
