Specific issues I'm facing: Both monitors turn off at random intervals, image noise (e.g. obvious reason when laptops wake up. I'd say on average I've seen all 2 hours or so of kvm shooting. That means on a typical work day I have to fiddle with cables, reboot my computer or turn the KVM on and off about 4 times a day. My setup: Two monitors connected to KVM via HDMI. One external USB 3.1 hub: printer, keyboard, mouse, webcam Hub connected to kvm via USB 3.1 device to USB a.A Macbook Pro connected to the Caldigit TS 3 docking station. Connected to kvm via a Displayport cable, a USB C to HDMI converter then to an HDMI cable USB 3.0 Type A connector for USB devices A MacBook Pro connected to owc Thunderbolt 3 Dock Connected to KVM via a Mini DisplayPort to DIS playport cable, a USB-C to HDMI converter, then to HDMI cable, type USB 3.0 - USB device connector. No, the cables are not a problem because when I connect them directly to the monitors or directly to the hub I have no problems. Yes, I've spent a lot of time on permutations. I bought this particular kvm because I saw a video from the manufacturer showing the Macbook Pro connected to the docking station. There are so many bad KVMs out there and such a wide price range that it's incredibly difficult to find a working solution without experimenting with different products.
