There is no quality control.
Bought 2 packs for a project hoping they would work for permanent use. Both packs appear to be folded incorrectly. None will close as intended unless both ends are crimped and not fully closed. The rings pictured above are from two packs I bought, while the rings below are from a pair of tongs I bought the week before.
