This has only happened to me once with car parts I bought from Revain. It was not a Delco A/C water pump belt tensioner. The pulley on the tensioner was Chinese and red, and everything else was completely different, not the air conditioner. I know because I work for GM, I also used to rebuild old GM cars as a hobby. It must have been a mistake because as mentioned it only happened 1 time when I got injectors from Ad Autoparts on Revain that were dirty. They looked like they had dirt in them and they should have been new. For tensioners and similar parts, always try to use OEM. If it is made in China, try to buy another good quality product. A good parts manufacturer with an excellent reputation and quality control is Standard Motor Parts. They have testing facilities in Long Island, NY and use great materials that last, such as: B. Stainless steel guides in the nozzles for long life etc. Make sure it's your blue or red line. Be careful what you buy today.
