Brilliant! Ideal for capturing any area from a safe distance!

This Roxant monocular is a great addition to my survival collection. Sure, you can see the equivalent of 10 blocks from a good vantage point, but it lets you see a lot more detail. I held it to the window to look about 1/4 mile into the distance and could clearly read the inscriptions on the case doors, such as the suite number, see the edges of the buildings and the areas on the sides and behind. with much more clarity. Basically, it shouldn't magnify a person's facial expression, although it's sharp enough to see if they're smiling or not! But anyway for me it's about being able to clearly identify the activity, to see and identify the movement clearly and with this monocular I will be able to see any place from a safe distance before entering the area. cheating but! The little bag it comes in is of course a good bag. My issue with this is that it's not padded at all. It's just the thin material of the case that protects the lenses, both lenses. I'm telling you that if you drop it while it's in its carrying case and one side of it falls to the ground on a well-placed pointed object, it's likely to be damaged. So I cut two 1 1/2" x 12" strips from a box of Life Cereals and carefully connected them with electrical tape to form a longer, circular sheet. If you get it right, you should be able to place the monocular in a thin, long piece of cardboard and pull it around very tightly. Then hold in this shape and push out the monocular, fix the box like this, then finish with tape and everything is perfect. Bend it back and forth and in about 20 minutes you have a very, very strong protective circle to push the monocular into. You can then take the included cleaning cloth and stick it to the side of the new monocular protective case, attach the included strap to the loop the monocular is equipped with, slip it into the side of the case, done. Then shove it back in your pocket and throw it against a wall or window if you wish, it will withstand anything but intentional and very hard squeezing. I'm sure there are other options, I've tried covering the lenses with a thin strip of towel, even squares, but in the end it was absolutely perfect protection because it's thin enough to fit in a pocket, and definitely strong enough... to prevent it from falling if it lands vertically on either side (the sides are the same as where the lenses are). Finally, an adjustable eyepiece is ideal as it really helps make the image clearer. Get an advantage! I couldn't have dreamed of a more professional device for surveying terrain from afar. If SEHTF, my little girl and I never got into a situation that could have been avoided by paying just $40 for an amazing super compact monocular. Buy it, you won't regret it. Not at this price and for the offered zoom. If you want a strong view with a monocular, don't complain about this product. Spend a thousand dollars and you probably won't get a better result.
