Review on πŸ’½ Corsair Black CSSD-BRKT2 Dual SSD Mounting Bracket - 3.5 Inch by Bob Schultz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great mount for SSD!

I'm a computer consultant so I install a lot of SSDs. I like them better than the Sabrent dual SSD brackets. I installed over 50 Sabrent mounts before I found them. In most cases, they are easier to use. They also place the connectors in roughly the same place as a regular hard drive, allowing for more brackets (like the blue plastic brackets Dell uses). The ONLY thing that drives me nuts about these mounts is the way they package the screws. It comes with 3 sets of 4 screws each in its own small packaging rolled up FIRMLY. and then glued. Getting the screws out without cutting yourself is really difficult. I wrote Corsair to try and get them to change this as I will probably be installing hundreds of these things. These brackets are good but some of the edges are pretty sharp. Of course, if you work a lot on the computer, you know that there are many sharp objects inside the computer case. But for you newbies, be careful when using them. Bottom line: I prefer them over Sabrents because they place the SSD connectors and it's easier to fit an SSD in them. that there are many sharp objects inside the computer case.
