I bought it because of a review that said it works great on Linux. I can confirm that! Colors aren't the best, but it works for a portable secondary monitor. It's amazingly bright. Not as bright as my Dell XPS, but in a room with a bright overhead light I still had to turn it down to 40%. It also seems to work with my Samsung tablet's Dex mode, although I haven't experimented with it that much. the coupon reduces the grand total to $105, i think i made the right choice. I have a problem with the brightness/volume control. At first I could switch between them. Now the knob only increases and decreases the volume. I can still go into the menu and change the brightness that way, but I lack the convenience.
