Review on Metra 70-2003: Superior Radio Wiring Harness for GM 98-08 Vehicles by Robert Sample

Getting Started. I had a very hard time finding the right wiring harness for my 04 Silverado. Revane even said it wouldn't fit in my car! I didn't want to spend over $50 just for my suspension to have a chime or other safety features that I don't care about. I connected wire to wire only to find my deck won't turn on! The extra red 12 volt cable that comes with the kit saved a life. I had to run a red wire from the deck wiring harness to the fuse box and connect it to it through the wiper fuse. I just used a fuse I bought from AutoZone and voila, it finally worked! This was my first time setting up a deck and it was without a doubt a speed bump. If it weren't for this harness' comments on the fuse tap, I'd be completely lost (including instructions!).
