. It's better than the other 2 I've tried. Works with ESP-01 and ESP-01. Has an extra connector so you can plug it into the breadboard when plugged into the ESP-01(s) - sooooo handy (although I wish they were on opposite sides. No need to unplug and plug it back in Plug the program in. I don't think you need to hit the reset button, it just works - the programs will then reset and you can connect via the serial connection.The one I tried (black with yellow connector from MakerFocus), wasn't programmed. You have to solder the GPIO to GND to get into programming mode, I soldered the button in but it was jumpy and not perfect (using a yellow connector from WishIOT). There is a switch that helped, to go from programming mode to serial mode, which basically bridged the GPIO to GND. But it's a lot easier - no such headache. It just works. (After you're familiar with all d en software headache, but HW just works.)
