I bought 2 of these to transport raw milk from the farm to the house. When first used, a gray substance appeared in the milk, which immediately melted. Milk was used to water my plants because I was afraid to use it. I washed the pitcher and dried it with a paper towel. The paper towel was full of gray small metal grains. I kept drying myself and there was still metal powder in the new towels and the pitcher was starting to smell of metal. I have decided to return my 2 Revain Jars because this metal material could spoil and poison my milk. It's also nice to note that I received two different sizes for the same product, one 4 liter size and the other a 1 gallon size (3.75 liters).
