Review on Sliding Control 85620 08052 2004 2006 2007 2010 by George Halbohm

I've replaced these sliding door cables about 3 times each side (they may have lasted a year lately) and usually bought a more expensive one but decided to keep it try once to see how it fits. The fit worked out fine and the door is working again. The only "mistake" was that the white and black cable anchors were swapped at the ends, but functionally they were the same. This is the only replacement part I have ever received that had a metal spool and washer on a plastic cap. Others have expected you to replace the shim to reduce wheel friction on the plastic cover, but I lost it a while ago and was never able to get a replacement. For that alone it was worth it. If I had to replace them again (maybe in a year) I would buy them again. Let's see how long they last.
