Review on Blaupunkt 1500W 4 Channel Full Range Amplifier by Andrea Thomas

Blaupunkt have been around since the 30's, they know a thing or two about audio. However, they have lost prestige due to their false promotion of power. It doesn't come close to 1500W or its RMS rating. More like 650W PEAK when connected to a dynamometer amp. They are great although I have a Boss amp that powers my subwoofer with the same power which overheats after about 1 hour of playback at high volume. I have a 4 channel Blaupunkt with 6 speakers and it hasn't overheated and shut down yet. Don't buy this if you plan to pair it with a subwoofer, buy this if you're doing a speaker upgrade.
