The advert says it will open and slide 2.3" or 58mm YES but it won't hold, in my case using it on a light stand, it opens and partially wraps around the tube which is 1.75" but it doesn't stick, it slides off easily. looks like its worth the money if you are on 1.25" or clamp smaller hoses.In the two photos you can see it barely borders the 1.75 diameter.then comes off with the slightest effort while 1.25" work fine.It is made in China and seems to be one of the few sold today being chinese items that had a little attention to quality before shipping, the chinese failed miserably at writing descriptive ads worth the money if your pipe is 1.25 in diameter OR LESS
